Making Family Traditions

I love being in the chapter of life where we can make our own family traditions. One tradition that we unintentionally started is carving pumpkins with the Visser Family along with eating chili and cinnamon rolls for supper! We didn’t even realize we had started the tradition until some memories popped up that last year we had also had chili and cinnamon rolls while carving pumpkins!

Sheridan makes some great chili so she generously offered to share her recipe with me!

Add chili powder to taste

Add onion and saute 3 minutes.
Then add garlic and saute 30 seconds longer.
Brown ground beef and sausage with onions and garlic.

Add all other ingredients to crockpot and stir.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours covered.
