WE HAVE BEEF!

It’s been a whirlwind of a month! I have been so busy with work, cattle, my child, and getting the meat business up and running. We had our branding back at the end of May. Then we hauled our pairs south to our summer pasture. We also spend most weekends going to neighbor’s brandings! Plus we were busy with artificially inseminating one group of our cows. It’s a crazy time of year, but it is my favorite time of year. So many hours on the back of my horse, working cows, socializing with friends, and watching my son experience it all for the first time. You can’t put a price tag on that! I can’t say it enough, but we truly have the best lifestyle around!

On top of all the cow work, I have been working and waiting (not so patiently) to launch our first beef on the website! I am happy to announce that we are officially live with beef in stock! I hope you’re all ready to bear with me as I learn and adjust my website/commerce system as we go. It’s all new to me, and I’ve been known to be technologically impaired (ask my sisters).

I am so thankful that I have had such great support from my family for launching my business, especially my husband. Max has been so helpful with taking on some extra daddy time so I can get extra work done and helping me haul the steer and transport beef.
